2020 Cyberprep Internship Cohort Program

The Rocky Mountain AFCEA chapter sponsored the 2020 Cyberprep Internship Cohort program.  12 high school students participated in the program, which was organized by the Pikes Peak Business & Education Alliance.  The interns were hosted by 4 local area companies this summer, exploring cyber career fields and performing cyber tasks in a virtual setting.   The Rocky Mountain Chapter awarded the 12 participants $500 for their internships.  Photos are Russ Fellers, Chapter VP for Education, presenting checks to Daixuarnae Steele and Fugin Pahk $500 each for their internships with the National Cybersecurity Center.

Community Support for COVID-19

The RMC chapter has approved $15,000 to help the community supporting food pantries, food kitchens, first responders, and others in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. So far the chapter has given $1,000 to each of the following:


1. Springs Rescue Mission

2. Salvation Army

3. Care and Share

4. Project Cope

5. Westside Cares

6. Marian House

7. CSFD

8. ACTS Ministries
